This growing pond is where the 2-3 months Koi are grown until just about 2 years old. The pond is converted swimming pool with dimension of 10m x 6m x ave 1.5m, with capacity of approx: 90,000 litres.

It is only being filtered with :

2 x System 2000 then a moving media bed all supplied by 1 Hp pump (second System 2000 was added August 2004)

1 x 30kg Bakki House media on 18000L Submersible pump (since February 2006)

Another accessories are: 1 x HiBlow 40 pump and occasionally 1 x 120W UV System is used in Spring

No more than 50 Koi at 20cm or larger at anytime to keep the load down and this is done by on-going culling.
